After the first stage of clearing the Brimfield Brook by the Bonfire Field, we are planning another day to complete the job. This
is particularly important in preparation for winter months. During our first round of clearing in the area we have discovered that the overgrowth of that stretch of the Brook is quite advanced and clearing it is urgent to prevent collapse and causing a blockage.
The fantastic Land Drainage Volunteers will be working on that section of the Brook between 9:30 and 11:30 on Saturday 23rd September.
On Saturday 30th September we will meet at the entry to the woodland by the transformer station bridge in Millbrook Close at 9:30 and tackle further part of the Brook.
