Following the recent flooding during Storm Babet the Land Drainage Volunteers will be meeting to clean up the accumulation of silt and debris from around the Millbrook Bridge.
Join us on Sunday, 5th November @ 9:30am by the Millbrook Bridge.
Your help will be very welcome!
Waders, spades and refreshments will be provided, but please wear wellies and bring your own gardening gloves if possible.
The Parish Council hired a skip to allow for safe disposal of the debris.
The silt and debris that was washed down the brook and is now partially blocking the culvert at the bridge needs to be removed as a matter of some urgency and before any further heavy rain.
Any assistance will be very much appreciated and will ensure we keep the brook flowing in the most effective way possible. Tools will be provided and refreshments. However wellies and gloves would be helpful.
