You may have noticed that the Council has recently been advertising for the position of Parish Tree Officer.
We are pleased to let you know that the PC has now appointed Mr David Batten to the role.
Parish Tree Officer is a voluntary role and the main objective is to periodically inspect trees in the area, report any problems and dangers, as well as advise the PC on arboricultural matters, including for the purpose of Works To Trees planning consultations.
Mr Batten comes with an impressive professional background and, we are sure, will be a fantastic addition to the Parish team and provide the area with his expert advice and help.
